Ask peo­ple what’s great about work­ing for Google and chances are they’ll men­tion the free food. But that’s a ben­e­fit enjoyed by every poo­dle in Amer­ica. To me, the real ben­e­fit of being at Google was that I got to meet and work with some really smart peo­ple. And by writ­ing want ads for 27 Google offices in North and South Amer­ica, Europe, Asia and Aus­tralia, I helped the com­pany recruit a lot of them.
